Bolnore Village Scout Group in Haywards Heath is looking for a new Chair of the trustee board. We provide fun activities whilst teaching skills for life for approximately 70 children aged 6-14 in our local area.
In this role you'd be leading our trustee board to make sure we are fulfilling our obligations as a charity, whilst also supporting our Leaders who run the weekly activities. This doesn't mean you have to come on a Tuesday night!
As a charity which is part of The Scout Association, you'll be well supported at the District, County and National level. Training is provided.
What skills do I need?
-Organised and reliable
-A good team player and able to lead a team
-Responsible and a decision- maker
A background in Scouting or previous trustee experience is not required (although previous trustee experience is desirable). There is mandatory training as part of this role.
