Volunteers needed for numerous roles.

WEAct (Woking Environment Action), it is a local registered charity run entirely by volunteers that works to protect and improve the environment in Woking and the surrounding area. Its aims include promoting sustainable living, tackling climate change, restoring nature, and educating local residents about environmental issues.

Some of WEAct's activities include:

Woking Repair Café: helping people repair household items to reduce waste and landfill.

Biodiversity projects: tree planting, habitat conservation, wildlife surveys, and water quality monitoring.

Library of Things: encouraging the sharing and borrowing of equipment rather than buying new items.

Climate action and awareness raising: organising events, campaigns, and community projects to help local people reduce their environmental impact.

Great Big Green Week Woking: coordinating local activities that promote environmental action and sustainable living.
