Woking Hedgehogs aims to raise awareness of just how critical our local greenspaces and gardens are for maintaining a healthy, growing hedgehog population. There are plenty of actions you can take to support these amazing animals, helping to make Woking as hedgehog friendly as possible - see our webpage for more details: https://wokingenvironmentaction.com/woking-hedgehogs/
Volunteers with this project can help by supporting awareness raising events and/or the administration of loaning out our wildlife cameras. For example, we often provide stalls at school fetes telling people about the Hedgehog project and how they can encourage Hedgehogs in their gardens. There is no minimum time commitment for this role - any support that you can provide is appreciated.
No specific skills are required for this project - most important is a willingness to get involved and enthusiasm for our aims and objectives.
If you have an interest in wildlife or gardening to support wildlife that is an added bonus!
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
