Volunteering Opportunities with Essex Community First Aid Event Volunteers
About
We provide affordable first aid cover for local charity events such as walks or runs for life, club meetings, firework displays and food and drinks festivals; these are mainly for Hospices, events at local schools and local associations etc. This helps to bring people in the community together and utilise community spaces. We also provide free of charge demonstrations of first aid such as CPR, recovery position and bandaging at different events, for example fire station open days. This then allows members of the public to have a go at first aid and we also encourage children to participate thus giving them a new life skill.
