About the Role

Thrive Impact CIC is looking for a passionate, confident and community-minded Volunteer Community Representative to support our Empower Her Project. Empower Her supports women and girls through awareness, education, advocacy and safe spaces focused on domestic abuse, healthy relationships, confidence, wellbeing and women’s empowerment. In this role, you will help represent Thrive Impact CIC at community events, presentations, workshops and local spaces. You will share information about our work, help raise awareness, signpost people to support where appropriate, and be a positive voice for change in the community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Community Representative, you may:

  • Attend community events on behalf of Thrive Impact CIC
  • Speak confidently and sensitively about the Empower Her Project
  • Share information around domestic abuse, healthy relationships and women’s empowerment
  • Deliver short presentations or support small group discussions
  • Share resources and signpost people to appropriate support services
  • Represent Thrive Impact CIC in a professional, respectful and compassionate way
  • Support workshops, awareness sessions or training delivery where appropriate
  • Help us build stronger community connections and partnerships

This Role Is Ideal for Someone Who:

  • Is passionate about supporting women and girls
  • Believes in empowerment, safety, dignity and positive change
  • Is confident speaking to individuals, groups or community audiences
  • Has good communication and listening skills
  • Is empathetic, respectful and non-judgemental
  • Can represent Thrive Impact CIC professionally
  • Has lived, voluntary or professional experience around domestic abuse, women’s issues, community work or advocacy — this is welcome but not essential
  • Is willing to learn and volunteer within Thrive Impact CIC’s values and safeguarding approach
