The role in a nutshell: As a Book Volunteer, you'll sort donated books and help them find new homes. You'll display books in the shop following our simple guidelines. We'll show you how. What will you be doing? You'll help the manager and team to: - Sort donated books. - Price them appropriately. - Keep our book section stocked with fresh, good-quality books. - Rotate titles following our policy. How would you be supported in this role? You’ll get online and hands-on training when you start, plus regular refreshers and ongoing support. We’ll cover agreed expenses and give you the chance to shape your volunteering experience. Why do we need volunteers in this role? Book Volunteers help our shops raise money to support older people.
