Events Support Worker

We are a busy centre and from time to time we organise community events that help to bring the diverse communities together. We are looking for people to be part of a pool of volunteers who we can call upon for support when this is required. The role will involve: Setting up the hall with tables and chairs Decorating the hall Serving meals from the buffet Washing up/ stacking the dish washer Clearing and cleaning up afterwards
What skills do I need?
Due to the nature of the work must be able to stand for long periods of time Friendly and approachable Be able to work well in a team To be able to use own initiative Must be adaptable Must like busy environments
