Join Shooting Star Children's Hospices at the Royal Parks Half Marathon and help support our fantastic team of 15 runners as they take on the iconic 13.1-mile route through London's beautiful Royal Parks. Your enthusiasm and encouragement can make a huge difference to our runners throughout their challenge. The event requires support from 8am-1.30pm at Hyde Park London. As a Royal Parks Half Marathon Support Volunteer, you may be asked to: Cheer on and motivate our runners throughout the event. Help create an energetic and positive atmosphere. Meet and support runners throughout the race
What skills do I need?
No previous experience is required. We are looking for volunteers who are: Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable. Reliable and able to work as part of a team. Confident engaging with runners and supporters. Passionate about supporting a local children's hospice. Happy to be outdoors for the duration of the event.
