Minds to Media (MTM) is a vibrant youth-focused media organization empowering young people through creative education, arts, and mental health support. We are seeking an articulate PR & Press Officer to increase MTM's reach, visibility, and reputation across local media, blogs, and community networks.
What skills do I need?
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft compelling press releases, community newsletters, and media copy highlighting program success.
- Build and maintain contact lists with local journalists, council networks, and community partners.
- Assist in managing public relations and brand reputation for major youth-facing events.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in copywriting or public relations, a friendly and professional networking style, and an interest in community advocacy.
Location
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
