This Volunteer will be the strategic voice of the club online, turning creative assets into compelling narratives and growing our digital community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent,
• Write engaging, on-brand captions for all social media posts (matchdays, player features, club news).
• Schedule and publish content across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube; one-post-per-day, 8 per week output.)
• Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our community and rivals to increase visibility.
• Track and report on social media analytics (engagement, growth, reach) to understand what resonates with our audience.
• Help develop creative social media campaign ideas (e.g., #PlayerOfTheMonth, Matchday Predictions, Throwback Thursday).
• Assist in conducting short, engaging player and staff interviews for social content.
• Develop game analytics using graphics

What skills do I need?

Ideal Candidate:

• A strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices, particularly in a sports context.
• Excellent written communication skills with a creative and engaging tone.
• Organised and able to manage a content schedule.
• Research skills with a keen interest in football and knowledge of its culture, terminology, and fan engagement.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator and Adobe Extra.
• Basic WordPress knowledge.
