Provide a non-voting perspective representing heritage, countryside and conservation interests in planning decisions.
- Attend Planning Committee meetings and contribute to discussions (non-voting).
- Represent relevant stakeholder interests in planning considerations.
- Review planning applications and reports in advance.
- Provide informed commentary on impacts of development proposals.
- Contribute to discussions on policy, development and enforcement matters.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and impartiality.
- Attend training and participate in site visits where appropriate.
