There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, allowing you to use your skills and interests while helping visitors enjoy this unique exhibition.
Volunteer Opportunities
Threads Events Team
Support the delivery of the exhibition and associated events. During your shift, you'll rotate through a range of roles including welcoming visitors, guiding tours, and supporting retail sales.
Pop-up Threads Café Team
Help create a friendly and welcoming café experience by serving refreshments and chatting with visitors.
Education Team – School Visit Support
Support our school visits and educational activities linked to the exhibition. We are particularly keen to hear from qualified teachers and Learning Support Assistants who can help deliver engaging sessions for visiting schools.

Whether you enjoy meeting people, sharing stories, serving refreshments or supporting learning, there's a role to suit you. Full training and support will be provided, and you'll be helping to make this special exhibition a memorable experience for all who visit.

Dates: Friday 4 September – Wednesday 7 October
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5.00pm (the day is split into 2 shift 9.15 – 1.30pm / 1.15pm – 5.00pm, but we will try to accommodate shorter shifts if required )
Evening shifts also required during the exhibition to cover our exciting programme of events running during the Exhibition.
