As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will support the Charity in raising essential funds to help deliver activities, events, and services for people living with dementia, memory loss, and their families. Your enthusiasm and community spirit will help build awareness of the club and encourage local people, businesses, and organisations to get involved in supporting our work.

The role includes assisting at community events, helping to organise fundraising activities, promoting campaigns, selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and engaging with the public in a friendly and professional manner. Volunteers may also help identify new fundraising opportunities, distribute promotional materials, and support event planning and logistics.

We are looking for volunteers who are approachable, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in their community. Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team are important. Previous fundraising experience is not required, as guidance and support will be provided. This is a rewarding opportunity to help ensure the Charity can continue to provide valuable support and companionship to those who need it most.

What skills do I need?

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of small or large fundraising events
  • A team player
  • Willing to guide trustees on the fundraising journey so we can have a secure future
