Who Are We?

We’re a local charity with a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. Providing expert hospice care, we’re there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle.

We also pioneer standards in end of life care through collaboration, research and training, reaching even more people facing death and bereavement.

The Role

As a Volunteer Admin Support – Legacy, you will help support the development of positive relationships with executors and solicitors. Your role will contribute to the timely receipt of legacy gifts, while helping to ensure accurate and well-organised records are maintained. St Catherine’s depends on these funds to continue providing essential care and support to patients and their families.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide support in administering legacy admin
  • Assist in ensuring paperwork is received and filed for each legacy
  • Help to build strong relationships with executors & solicitors
  • Follow up with executors and solicitors for regular updates on legacy estates
  • Volunteer closely with the Finance & Fundraising teams supporting legacy income
