Volunteering Opportunities with Dialogue Society NE
About
Dialogue Society North East brings people of different faiths, cultures and backgrounds together to build trust, understanding and friendship. We work with schools, universities, faith communities, councils and local organisations to organise interfaith conversations, community meals, cultural activities, art workshops and youth events. Our Life of a Chickpea school programme uses storytelling and dialogue to help children explore identity, respect and belonging. We also host Scriptural Reasoning sessions and Community Corner gatherings, where neighbours can meet and learn from one another. Supported by volunteers and local partners, our activities take place across the North East. We aim to challenge stereotypes, reduce isolation and strengthen connections between communities.
