The Conversation Group is a member-run community group offering informal English language practice, information-sharing, support and a friendly welcome to people new to the UK. The group aims to offer a place to connect with the local community, and an opportunity to converse in a social setting with people of a variety of backgrounds, exchanging information and discussing topics of interest and issues of concern. The group is run collectively by its members, and aims to be participatory, inclusive, anti-discriminatory, and sensitive to barriers members may face.
