Could you help us start the day with a warm welcome and a good breakfast?
We're looking for a friendly volunteer to support our Tuesday morning breakfast service, helping to prepare and serve breakfast for people staying within HARP's services.
You'll help with simple food preparation, serving breakfast and keeping the kitchen and serving area clean and tidy. Just as importantly, you'll be part of creating a welcoming and relaxed start to the day.
You don't need to be a professional cook — we're looking for someone dependable, friendly and happy to get stuck in. You'll be supported by the HARP team and given the relevant induction and training before getting started.
No formal catering qualifications or professional cooking experience are required.
We're looking for someone who is:
Friendly, welcoming and comfortable around people
Reliable and able to commit to Tuesday mornings
Happy to help with food preparation, serving and clearing up
Able to follow food hygiene and health & safety guidance
Comfortable working as part of a team
Relevant training, including food hygiene requirements, will be provided.
