Volunteering Opportunities with Southend - HARP (Homeless Action Resource Project)

About

We have homeless people at our night service and work with them to rehouse them permanently. We have a day centre that provides meals and support groups to vulnerable adults with housing/drug & alcohol issues. There is also a 6 bedroom rehabilitation hostel that supports people with alcohol/substance misuse issues. HARP is a Southend based charity that help people get off the streets and back on their feet. We have a number of hostels, bedsits and flats locally and our staff help people build brighter futures - living without the fear of becoming homeless again.
